A few weeks ago, I was asked on my friends’ podcast to chat about my book, Mercy in the Mess, and when I was chatting with Emily about the next topic for the podcast, living eternally, she immediately told me that I needed to chat with her mom, Scharlee. And boy was she right! Scharlee is so wise and I loved my conversation with her about living eternally. I know you will, too.
Today I am excited to read a small excerpt from my book, Mercy in the Mess, regarding love. The topic this month is love – and if you missed the last episode regarding loving difficult people, please go take a listen here.
I am excited to welcome back Kim Lukas today as we chat about loving difficult people. We had such a great conversation and we. went. there. I hope that this conversation blesses you today!

My guest for the Go & Tell Podcast with Lauren Greci: Episode 26 is Lisa Hernandez. We recorded this episode a few months ago but our conversation is still so relevant! Lisa shares some wonderful insight and wisdom. You are going to love this conversation!!
Happy 2022, friends! This month we are diving into the topic of contentment. This quick listen is just a glimpse of what we will be discussing this month regarding this topic. It’s a new season and I am excited to bring you content-specific topics, special guests and so much more!
Y’all! I cannot believe that Season 1 of the Go & Tell Podcast is in the books!!
Twenty amazing women shared their stories with all of us this past season and this episode is a little glimpse back at just some of these women. I also share two big announcements in this episode, so go take a listen wherever you get your podcasts.
My guest for the Go & Tell Podcast with Lauren Greci: Episode 23 is Liz Bornstein. Liz is the owner of Fridgefull Thinking, a personal chef service in the North Texas area. She helps so many people and families by creating and crafting delicious meals for families, accommodating all sorts of health issues, allergies and restrictions. She even made my sons’s 1st birthday cake that was free of wheat, eggs and nuts and it was so delicious!!
Liz shares why she started Fridgefull Thinking, as well as her own battle with health issues, trauma, and her healing journey. Much like myself, Liz is an enneagram two and an empath and we bonded over many similarities! Her story is encouraging, insightful, and I learned so much! I hope you enjoy today’s episode <3
My guest for the Go & Tell Podcast with Lauren Greci: Episode 22 is Jenn Smith. Jenn preaches to my soul on this episode and I know she will reach you wherever you are in your walk with the Lord. There are so many nuggets of wisdom that Jenn shares with me and you all – I literally can’t even say enough about this episode. This episode is so encouraging and uplifting. Grab your coffee and lean in to our conversation. You don’t want to miss this one!
As I was editing a recent podcast and creating the blog post for the episode, it dawned on me that over the past year + of blogging, I have over 100 posts! It is so fun to see the change in my writing style and even the spiritual change that has occurred in this past year. My “lifestyle” blog posts are becoming fewer as my focus has shifted more towards sharing the Lord and people’s testimonies. When I post, I want it to be more about God than about Friday Favorites. 😉 It is still fun to read those lifestyle blog posts and I will still occasionally post them (like today!), but the majority of my posts in recent months have dramatically changed.
So I thought it would be fun to take a look back at the TOP TEN posts that YOU have liked the most (based on the number of visitors/readers via WordPress) AND the TOP FIVE podcast episodes via Anchor).
Thank you for being here for over 100 blog posts and for always supporting, sharing, and commenting. I so appreciate you!

“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” 1 Peter 3:15 (NLT) Searching and searching for something to watch on TV while my youngest napped, frantically trying to find reprieve from the day of giving and giving,…
I have been battling systemic candida since November 2019. My diet is very strict and doesn’t allow much wiggle room. I have been living a gluten-free lifestyle for many years, however, trying to kill off candida takes more than abstaining from gluten. Since November of 2019, I have also cut dairy, caffeine, sugar (even from…
PSA: My husband is an Arnold fan, thus I am an Arnold fan, so I had to throw that GIF in there…and the fiting title for this blog. Love ya, dear! My sweet husband, Stephen, gifted me an Ancestry DNA kit for my birthday a few years ago. To most, this is just a cool…
Who would turn down an HGTV remodel show?!? Well, we did, sadly. First let’s back up and recap what all happened … Back in June of 2020, I was scrolling on television websites looking for shows that could help me in my hunt for my DNA siblings and father, which led me to look on…
My Healing Journey I’ve stated in the past that I have been battling many health issues. One of which is Systemic Candida…that means it is in my blood. Everyone, EVERYONE, has Candida. However, it is contained in the gut and in a good balance. However, as soon as you add antibiotics, sugar, gluten, stress, anxiety,…
These fat bombs are DA’ BOMB! Haha! No, seriously, they are the perfect sweet treat but also pack a protein punch! All you need is carob powder, coconut oil, almond butter, collagen peptides, and salt. I love using carob powder for many reasons! First and foremost, it is allowed on the candida diet. Secondly, it…
Over the last couple of months, I have been deep in prayer asking the Lord to guide me and help me (and ultimately my husband) make a tough decision – if I should walk away from my job at Frisco STYLE Magazine. I was in the Word and praying for God to guide Stephen, as…
I was scrolling through Instagram when a story stopped me in my tracks. This was what I read: View this post on Instagram PART 1/2: “Emily” was 6 months old when she was advertised for the first time on Craigslist to be raped. Her middle-class family had a film studio set up…
I haven’t been inside of Target since March (so I think I got carried away!) Haha! I needed to make a return so decided to go and get a few snack items for our boat outing on Saturday…then walked away with a ton of homeschool items as well! As soon as I walked in, the…
I have some exciting news to share! Before I share, let’s back up a bit… As I mentioned when I launched the blog, this was something that I had started crafting and working on a couple years ago. I had some posts saved and things written, but never took the plunge and launched the site.…
